I can’t believe last Wednesday was the official beginning of summer! This year seems to be really flying by. Do you have any fun summer plans? I don’t really have anything on the books right now, but I hope to travel a bit.
This look started with a plain single color of the holo nude base. After a few days, I decided to spruce things up and added the navy holo designs. I didn’t really have any direction of what I wanted this to end up as, but I like how it turned out.
- Lacquer Lust – Butt Bootie Naked (base)
- Cupcake Polish – Bat-chelor Pad (design)
- Vinyls used from TwinkledT (however I think the large chevron on the middle nail is a cheap drugstore vinyl)
Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo… I’m back! I don’t have some interesting tale of why I’ve been missing, other than the fact I keep losing track of time and life just happens. However, today I have this post and one more that will feature all the manis I’ve worn the last few weeks.
For this look, I feel like this is something Cinderella would wear if she lived out in space. Maybe I should do some other outer space Disney Princess inspired looks… We shall see!
I’ve really been into the negative space manis lately and thankfully my nails aren’t super yellow so I can wear these looks.
I’ll have to come back to this 😛
Hope you’ve had a great few weeks, I need to catch up on my blogs and look at all of yours too.
Ergh, it’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted, I didn’t make my usual Monday Mani post last week because I was coming home from my trip to Seattle. I planned on doing a follow-up This & That Thursday post, but that obviously didn’t happen either… I’m here now though!!
This first look is what I wore in Seattle. I didn’t want to wear something too crazy, but still wanted something fun. I felt like a sea foam-ish green would be perfect with a sea foam holo. The actual style of the mani is pretty basic and classic in my opinion, but it has that extra little kick with the holo. I really like this, I want to try it with some other cremes and holos that I have. **Sorry about this photo, I didn’t get a chance to take a decent picture of my mani until after I got home, so there’s a few days wear and grow out on these**
For my second look, I wore these once I got back from Seattle. I had bought the Simply Nailogical Zyler polish and got it in the mail while I was out of town. So, of course when I got back, I had to do something with my new polish. Since Zyler is a copper-orange holo, I wanted a bright creme orange to compliment it.
Colors used for Sea foam Seattle Sparkle mani:
- Revlon – Eclectic (580)
- Orly – Sparkling Garbage (20792)
Colors used for Orange Zyler Cat mani:
- Wet n Wild – Club Havana (211B)
- Starrily – Zyler the Cat
I used drugstore french mani strips for both looks.
